We are unique in that we offer complete diagnostic and management services not found elsewhere under one roof. Our combination of medical and behavioral care and educational and family support, makes us a complete resource center for children or adolescents and their families.

We provide a thorough assessment and accurate diagnosis of behavioral disorders such as ADHD and other behavioral/emotional disorders with the highest quality care and management for patients, along with resources, support, and information for families and schools.

Our comprehensive ADHD diagnostic process involves clinical interview, parent & teacher rating scales (as well as self-rating if age-appropriate), and the Qb Test continuous performance test, an objective measure of the core symptoms of ADHD.

What is Qb Test?

QbTest is a computer-based program that combines a test of attention ability with a movement analysis based on an infrared measurement system. Test results are assembled into a report and compared with data from a control group consisting of people who are the same sex and age as yourself. This way you can see how you react when you concentrate on a task in comparison with people who do not have ADHD.

QbTest is the only test in the world cleared by the FDA for this use, and The Wolff Center is revolutionizing your care by being the only pediatric clinic in NW Florida using this technology.

How should QbTest be used?

Assessing ADD/ADHD may be complicated and there is no single clinical tool that can provide all the answers. The QbTest provides objective data that together with other information will help your clinician assess you for ADD/ADHD.

QbTest provides a valuable baseline measurement that can help to evaluate any future changes in your activity, attention and impulsivity. QbTest is the only device cleared by the FDA to monitor how a patient is responding to treatment, which can aid in your clinician’s ability to monitor and track your response over time. Having a tool that can provide such insight into diagnoses and treatment options enables your provider to customize your treatment like never before!

How is a Qb Test performed?

The test equipment consists of an infrared camera, a head-band with an infrared marker attached to it and a responder button.

During the test, several symbols are shown on the computer screen. Your job is to push the responder button when a certain symbol appears on the screen. The test takes roughly 15 minutes to complete and is not dependent on your language, reading or mathematic skills.

QbTest and Wolff Center Partnership

The QbTest revolutionizes ADD/ADHD treatment and we are proud to be the only pediatric office in Northwest Florida to offer diagnosis, treatment and monitoring services utilizing the objective data QbTest provides. The Swedish based company, QbTech, has proudly collaborated with our Center to offer the most complete ADD/ADHD treatment program in Pensacola. By utilizing the FDA approved QbTest together with clinical evaluation, we can diagnose ADHD with a high degree of certainty, and for the first time monitor the effectiveness of medication and counseling treatment programs.
